This coming Sunday Dallas is adding more Bark to Fair Park! The 2013 Dog Bowl at the Cotton Bowl, sponsored by Friends of Fair Park, is a FREE pup-friendly event open to all! Between 1:00pm and 5:00pm on April 7th canines, pet owners and dog lovers will take over the Cotton Bowl and make it their own “Dog Bowl”. However, this particular bowl won’t be filled with a can of Kibbles ‘n Bits. There will be splash pools, a pet/owner look-alike contest, an agility course and much more fun activities for you and your furry friends! It’s an entire afternoon dedicated to DFW dog lovers!

In its 6th year of existence the Dog Bowl at the Cotton Bowl event will also feature pooch portraits, live music, exhibits and free giveaways! Enjoy specially priced microchipping and vaccinations for your furry family member.dog-bowl Cool organizations will be in attendance like Operation Kindness and the Human Society of Dallas County with adorable dogs up for adoption. You can find these pups who are looking for a loving home, located right outside the Cotton Bowl entrance gate at the Woofstock “Tail” gating zone.

“Man’s Best Friend” will have the time of his (or her) life at Fair Park splashing around the misting ponds, munching on doggie treats, playing with other local pooches and seeing helpful veterinarians. Here any Dallas dog lover can learn the latest tips and trends from both trainers and pet product vendors.

Parking may be $10 on the park grounds, but Admission is FREE so bring “Fido” and his buds for a riveting time at Fair Park Dallas where Dog Bowl at the Cotton Bowl becomes your 5-hour playground. After adding your own “Bark” to Fair Park, your doggie is sure to show you some love and wag his tail the entire way home after a full day of excitement.
