2012 Dallas Reggae Fest – Lynn Creek Park

9 Sep

MAXI PRIEST

Roots, Rock, Reggae – It can all be found around Joe Pool Lake in Cedar Hill this year for the 2012 Dallas Reggae Fest! Lynn Creek Park will transpire into a Caribbean fantasy simply because of the music and West Indian culture filling up the area. Imagine Joe Pool Lake as the Caribbean Ocean and the lakefront being your beach or the “dock of the bay”. Reggae Fest skipped a few miles south down I-35 and 67 from Fair Park last year to Cedar Hill’s Lynn Creek Park for a waterfront location for Live Reggae on the Lake! This year’s festival welcomes reggae icons like Maxi Priest and Elephant Man giving live unforgettable performances right in the middle of DFW! Groove to the sounds of sweet reggae classics or upbeat loc-swinging favorites as you grub on some West Indian treats that’ll knock your flip flops off!
